About the Event —

Far Afield is coming to First Friday!

Join us downtown during First Friday Art Walk at Bookmarx as we celebrate the approaching arrival of our very first print issue. We’ll have a table set up throughout the evening where you can preorder the summer issue, meet the people behind the magazine, and spend some time in conversation with the creative community that has helped bring Far Afield to life.

Whether you’ve contributed to our pages before, have been considering sending something our way, or have simply been curious about what we’re up to, come find us. We want to know it all; tell us about what you’ve working on. Tell us what you’re reading. Tell us what you’d like to see from the magazine in the future.

We’re especially excited to meet the writers and artists who may become a part of future issues.
